Teenagers nowadays are definitely obsessed with their looks. Who aren't? As the technology improves day by day, there are more ways to alter your looks. It is so easy to have a whole new look. Just pop into a plastic surgeon's clinic and describe how you want your new look to turn out to be. The only hard part is to endure the pain after. But as the saying goes, no pain no gain.
However, a teenager shouldn't do plastic surgery at this young age. If they really are desperate, they should have plastic surgery when they are very old, looking like a wrinkled prune. We, as teenagers are growing now, so we should just let nature take its own course. It is not realistic to change our looks, and by changing our looks, wouldn't we be ashamed? I mean we are who we are, our parents gave us our looks, and that's what makes us unique. By having a knife in your face to look like certain celebrity, we are no longer original. We'd be a fake.
Those celebrity who had undergone plastic surgery isn't having an enjoyable time either. Take for example Marylin Monroe got a nose job to make her so called 'bulbous nose' look more 'delicate'. Yes, her nose is much better now. Unfortunately, the celebrity now has to be careful of her nose, in fear of breaking it. That's how troublesome doing plastic surgery is. You never know the side effects either. Maybe after a botox, your face might collapse if you don't go for the injection regularly. You'll look like a bulldog, with all the sagging skin.
In conclusion, teenagers should not go for plastic surgery to alter their looks. It's downright not showing any respect to your looks that you were born with. On top of that, its so expensive, you might as well spend the money to buy things you like, or donate it to the charity if you have too much money to spend.
