Teenagers today are too obsessed with their looks. Many of them consider getting plastic surgery to alter their appearance. Most teenagers nowadays consider getting a plastic surgery, most likely because of the people around them. Some wants to keep up with the others who look great while others
doesn't want to be laughed at for their looks.
However, I think that teenagers should not consider getting plastic surgery to alter their appearance. Not only is it expensive, it also shows that they lack confidence in themselves. Looks aren't everything. One may look good but it's the inner beauty that counts. Not everyone judge by appearances. Although the society now, when looking for a job, looks still counts, but not being capable, then what is the use of looking good?
Moreover, plastic surgery
doesn't guarantee that it will be successful. What if it fails? Bad plastic surgery happens when someone feels pressure to look good and they have more money than brains. For example, Jocelyn Wildenstein, a wealthy socialite, who wants to improve her looks to win her
husband back. In the end, she turned out much worse than before. Plastic surgery may result in dire consequences. Ask yourself, would you be able to take it? Even if it's successful, would the feeling be great, having a fake face.
In conclusion, I would not encourage teenagers to get plastic surgery to alter their looks. One must always be satisfied with their looks.
