Are teenagers too obsessed with their looks? It depends on the individual. Why do teenagers bother so much about their looks these days? Fashion, how people look at you on the street, What your friends think of you, what people say about you, all these factors actually cause oneself to think about how they look, or change their perspectives of oneself. These factors all affect the person, causing them to look at themselves in the mirror twice. This leads to self-denial and false imperfection, when the person is or isn't good looking. It all happens because people feel that they are not good, pretty or handsome enough. We are born by our parents, and how we look doesn't really matter, we have a face to see, hear, speak, and feel, so why is it that important about how we actually look. What really matters is what we really are inside. That is what's really worth pondering about, or working on. To be even thinking of plastic surgery to alter the person's looks is insensible and is to be condemned. This is an utter act of greed. A lost of identity occurs and changing your looks is a pure insult to one's parents, the people who gave you life and this indirectly insults them. We are who we really are, and we should be happy about it.
