“Teenagers today are too obsessed with their looks. Many of them consider getting plastic surgery to alter their appearance.”
Well, i personally feel that looks are indeed important but it still cannot be compared with what you are deep inside. Many people always judge a person by their looks first, and being a teenager myself, if you are born with good looks, you will tend to have more friends than others. It is always like this. So, some teenagers are jealous by this fact that other people have more friends than them and they tend to think that it is not fair that many people judge them for how they look like and not for who they are. Looks cannot be compared with what you really are deep down inside. People around you, will always know who you really are, and will slowly tend to forget about your looks as looks doesn't matter to them anymore.
So, in order to have many friends, they decided to solve the root of the problem which is their looks, thus they decided to resort to plastic surgery to change their looks to get people's attention. But this is the wrong way of solving things. They should always be natural, like being themselves. Although it is true that people judge them first by their looks, but they tend to slowly understand them and take them for who they are. If they chose to resort to plastic surgery to change their looks, they will not solve the problem. If they have good looks and all, but their attitude is very poor, they will not have friends too. So i think that we just have to be who we are and thats what that matters. :)
